CM Revanth urges Brahmos Aerospace to expand operations in Hyderaba

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday urged Brahmos Aerospace to expand its presence in Hyderabad, offering full support from the Telangana government. The request was made during a meeting with the aerospace company’s leadership at his Jubilee Hills residence.

The delegation, which included Brahmos Aerospace MD and CEO Dr Jaiteerth R. Joshi, Executive Director of Brahmos Hyderabad Surampudi Sambasiva Prasad, and DRDL Director G.A. Srinivasa Murthy, met with the Chief Minister along with IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.

Revanth Reddy briefed the visiting officials on the state’s plans to establish a Defence Corridor connecting Hyderabad and Bengaluru. He highlighted Hyderabad’s existing defence ecosystem, noting that several defence-related organisations already operate in the region.

The Chief Minister said Telangana offered favourable conditions for defence investments and committed to extending all necessary assistance to Brahmos Aerospace for any proposed expansion.

The company representatives responded positively to the proposal, according to officials present at the meeting.
