KTR accuses Revanth govt of corruption, nepotism and governance failure

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao launched a strong attack on the Congress government in Telangana. He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of leading a corrupt, nepotistic, and dictatorial administration.

During an informal chat with reporters at Telangana Bhavan, KTR alleged that L&T is preparing to exit the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. He claimed this was due to threats and extortion from the Chief Minister. He further alleged that land sales, commissions, and bribe-based settlements have become routine in the current regime.

KTR also said that Congress altered the Regional Ring Road alignment to benefit land owned by Revanth and Jaipal Reddy’s families. Moreover, he pointed out that scrapping the Airport Expressway project had hurt IT sector growth.

KTR targets Revanth over metro, drugs, and job scam claims

KTR alleged that Telangana has now become the country’s second-largest drug hub. He blamed the Chief Minister’s inaction and mocked the ‘Hydra operations’ as “Hy-drama.” In addition, he accused the government of neglecting repairs to the Medigadda barrage and failing to support handloom weavers in Sircilla.

He criticized the mishandling of Praja Palana applications. Speaking on job recruitment, he claimed the Group-1 exam was marred by irregularities and alleged that jobs were sold for ₹3 crore each. KTR warned that rising public anger, especially among youth, could topple the Congress government.

He also accused the CM of nepotism. According to him, contracts worth hundreds of crores were awarded to Sujan Reddy and Amit Reddy, contradicting Revanth’s claims of clean governance.

KTR says Congress runs on PR, lacks public achievements

KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy paid to become PCC chief and later sold eight Congress MPs to the BJP “like cattle.” He demanded by-elections for defected MLAs, comparing them to “rats in a basket.”

He slammed the Congress for diluting the BC Declaration and failing to support marginalised groups. Wrapping up his remarks, KTR said the government survives only on “media and PR management.” He challenged the Chief Minister to name even one achievement that has truly helped the public.
