Seethakka campaigns for Naveen Yadav in Jubilee Hills by-election

Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka on Friday campaigned in support of Congress candidate Naveen Yadav for the Jubilee Hills by-election, stating that his victory would mark a turning point for the constituency’s development.

Congress pitches development under Revanth’s leadership

Speaking at a street-corner meeting in Borabanda, Seethakka criticised the BRS for failing to provide basic amenities like drinking water and proper drainage despite winning the seat three times. She said that since Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also holds the municipal administration portfolio, a Congress MLA would ensure swift resolution of local issues.

She urged voters to give Naveen Yadav a chance, assuring that welfare schemes would reach every household. “The Congress government is already delivering schemes to each home. We’ve sanctioned Indiramma houses for 4.5 lakh poor families,” she said.

Listing implemented promises, she mentioned free 200-unit electricity, ₹500 gas cylinders, ration cards, and housing for the people with low-income. “Vote for the hand symbol and bring Naveen Yadav to victory,” she appealed.

Seethakka added that the government was investing ₹150 crore in development within the constituency. “Only Congress can guarantee welfare for the people with low-income. If you want tears, vote for BRS. If you want homes and progress, vote for Congress,” she said.

Seethakka slams BRS leadership over attacks on Naveen Yadav

Targeting BRS leaders KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao, Seethakka accused them of making false claims against Naveen Yadav. She recalled that KCR had launched his party using a campaign vehicle provided by Naveen’s father, Srishailam Yadav. “Their family even funded early BRS campaigns, yet they now spread lies about him,” she said.

She alleged that the BRS had inducted rowdy elements and individuals involved in harassment. “KTR himself garlanded and bowed before such people. But today, they vilify the very family that once supported them financially,” she charged.

Seethakka also criticised KTR over his strained ties with his sister K. Kavitha. “If he cannot tolerate his own sister, how can he respect other women?” she asked. Urging voters to support a local candidate, she said, “Naveen Yadav was born and raised in this street. Elect him.”
