Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on Sunday announced that the state will host a global summit in December. This summit will unveil the “Telangana Rising Vision 2047” document, marking two years of the Congress-led government’s tenure. The event aims to attract global investors and outline the state’s long-term development path.
The summit is scheduled for December 8 and 9. It will be used to present the 2047 vision to the international community, detailing how Telangana intends to compete globally over the next two decades. The announcement was made during an inspection of potential summit venues. These venues include Bharat Future City, HITEX, Gachibowli Stadium, and Dundigal.
The Deputy CM said that while the first year of governance was used to showcase the achievements of the Congress government, the second year would focus on presenting its futuristic strategy. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the full cabinet have approved the plan to formally release the 2047 vision.
Telangana eyes 100-acre venue for major investment summit
The state government is scouting for a venue with at least 100 acres of open space to host the summit. Officials confirmed that the recently held Dubai Festival served as a model. However, the upcoming summit is expected to surpass it in scale and impact.
Bhatti Vikramarka said Hyderabad continues to be a top destination for global investment, citing its skilled workforce, favourable climate, and competitive costs. The summit will invite international industrialists to explore investment opportunities across Telangana.
