BRS MLC calls Formula-E probe a political vendetta scripted by CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dr. Sravan Dasoju on Thursday accused Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of plotting a political attack through the Formula-E case to defame former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR).

He described the case as a “fabricated political vendetta” with no legal merit, credible evidence, or factual support. According to him, the Congress government misused public institutions to target KTR, who played a key role in building “Brand Hyderabad” and drawing global investors to the state.

“This is not justice. It’s a revenge script written, directed, and performed by Revanth Reddy,” Dr. Dasoju alleged. He slammed the government for politicising a globally recognised event.

Event aimed at global gains, not scandal, says BRS

Dr. Dasoju said the Formula-E event was organised to attract EV investments, generate jobs for youth, and boost Hyderabad’s global profile. Instead of recognising its impact, the government turned it into a controversy, he claimed.

He argued that such misrepresentation disrespected Telangana’s youth and undermined the state’s growth. In his view, the Congress government invented these allegations to cover up its failures. These include growing debt, flawed policies, and weak administration.

“A government with no grip on governance invents stories. A leader with no direction attacks others,” he said.

BRS MLC defends KTR’s leadership and vision

Dr. Dasoju said KTR’s transparency and vision made him a target of political attacks. He believes the public will not fall for what he called “scripted lies.”

He also expressed strong faith in the judiciary. In his view, the case would not survive legal review. He urged people to recall the core principles of the Telangana movement truth, justice, and dignity.

Using false cases as political tools, he warned, threatens the foundations of democracy. He called on citizens to defend fairness and self-respect.
