Hyderabad: Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Azharuddin on Monday expressed deep grief over the Saudi bus crash involving Hyderabad pilgrims. He assured full support from the Telangana government to all affected families.
Minister coordinates with Saudi, Indian officials for swift response
Azharuddin spoke with Indian Consul General Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri in Jeddah. He asked for immediate help for injured pilgrims and quick coordination of relief work. The Minister directed Telangana officials to act without delay and ensure proper care for the victims.
He also closely tracked the situation with senior officers. At the control room, he personally checked updates and made sure families received fast and clear information.
Helplines launched, families assured of government aid
The state activated two helplines 79979 59754 and 99129 19545 for families seeking help or updates.
Azharuddin said the Telangana government, in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs and Saudi officials, is doing everything possible to help the families. He assured that support would continue until every family receives the assistance they need.
