Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday inaugurated a new conference hall at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in Hyderabad, outlining an ambitious economic vision centred on infrastructure, innovation, and equity.
Addressing industrialists and business leaders, Bhatti called for deeper collaboration between government, civil society, and industry, pledging an open-door policy to enable direct access to ministers and officials.
He spotlighted major government projects including the Future City, Musi River rejuvenation, and the Regional Ring Road (RRR) calling them transformational for Hyderabad’s growth trajectory. He said plans were in place to establish dedicated IT, pharma, and housing clusters between the RRR and the Outer Ring Road.
In response to industry demands, the Deputy CM announced that the government is actively considering a one-time settlement scheme for pending power bills. He also reaffirmed Telangana’s appeal as an investment destination, citing its infrastructure, skilled workforce, uninterrupted power, and green energy plans.
Bhatti lauded FTCCI’s century-long role in shaping Hyderabad’s evolution into a global hub and said the state’s development must aim at household-level wealth generation.
As part of inclusive development, he highlighted the upcoming Skill University and Ambedkar Knowledge Centers and reiterated the government’s commitment to enabling one crore women to become millionaires in five years.
“Creating wealth should uplift every citizen,” he said, urging unity between government, industry, and civil society in ensuring equitable growth.
The event saw participation from MLA Mainampally Rohith, Congress leader Mainampally Hanumanth Rao, FTCCI President Suresh Kumar, and other senior officials.
