HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader RS Praveen Kumar has demanded that SC/ST atrocity cases be filed against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, and AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. In a social media post, Praveen Kumar accused CM Revanth Reddy of attempting to divert attention from the recent exam paper leak scandal by allegedly orchestrating a fake atrocity case against BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR). He questioned whether an atrocity case should be filed against KTR, who he claims has been advocating for Dalit and tribal communities, or against Revanth Reddy, whom he accuses of betraying these communities.
Praveen Kumar highlighted several grievances, including the deaths of 80 Gurukul students, alleged misappropriation of SC Sub-Plan funds, and the humiliation of the Deputy Chief Minister at the Yadadri temple, asserting that these incidents warrant atrocity cases against Revanth Reddy. He also accused Revanth Reddy of insulting the Assembly Speaker by referring to his caste and claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy deceived Dalits and tribals during events at Chevella and Indravelli. Additionally, Praveen Kumar called for an atrocity case against Akbaruddin Owaisi for allegedly insulting Seethakka, a tribal woman, in the Assembly by questioning her proficiency in English and Hindi.
Criticizing CM Revanth Reddy’s leadership, Praveen Kumar labeled him as incompetent, particularly highlighting the recent exam paper leak incident. He questioned how the accused managed to enter the exam center despite the presence of police, officials, and invigilators, and expressed suspicion about those who might have assisted him. Praveen Kumar also accused Revanth Reddy of attempting to divert attention from the leak scandal by allegedly orchestrating a fake atrocity case against KTR.
