Hyderabad: A 25-year-old cab driver was found murdered in a deserted area near Omar Khalid Masjid in Maqbool Nagar, under the limits of Chandrayangutta police station.
The victim, identified as Mohammed Abdul Aziz, had suffered deep gashes to the neck and other injuries, suggesting a targeted and violent attack. Police said the body bore multiple cut wounds, indicating he may have been ambushed.
Aziz had left home saying he was going to meet his wife but failed to return. His family, unable to contact him, began searching. Hours later, they were informed that his body had been discovered.
Investigators recovered several medical syringes from the scene. Chandrayangutta police have registered a case of murder and are scanning CCTV footage in the area. A probe is underway to establish the motive and identify those involved.
