Cabinet sub-committee to discuss fiscal roadmap, Indiramma housing, Kharif plans today

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will chair a key cabinet sub-committee meeting at 2 p.m. today at the Secretariat to deliberate on measures to strengthen Telangana’s financial position.

Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy are scheduled to attend.

The agenda includes a detailed discussion on increasing revenue without burdening the public, pending central funds, and indirect tax implications. Ministers are expected to present suggestions for revenue augmentation that avoid direct impact on citizens.

Implementation of the six guarantees, progress of Indiramma housing schemes across districts, and preparations for the Kharif season will also be reviewed.
