HYDERABAD, February 6: Choreographer Shreshti Verma has lodged a complaint against RJ Shekhar Basha, alleging the unauthorized release of her personal call records and defamatory statements on YouTube channels. She claims these actions have harmed her reputation.
In her complaint, Verma requests the seizure of Basha’s personal mobile and other electronic devices. The police have registered a case against Basha under Sections 79 and 67 of the BSN Act and Section 72 of the IT Act.
This incident follows a previous case where Verma accused choreographer Jani Master of sexual assault, leading to his arrest. While investigations into that case continue, Verma’s current complaint against Basha has added to the ongoing concerns within the film industry.
Additionally, actress Lavanya has filed a complaint against Basha, alleging attempts to involve her in a drug-related case and blackmailing her with personal videos. She has provided audio evidence to the police.
Authorities are actively investigating these cases to ensure justice and address the serious allegations raised by the complainants.
