Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will hand over appointment letters to 5,000 newly recruited Village Revenue Officers (VROs) on September 5. The ceremony will be held at Hitex, Madhapur, and is scheduled to begin at 4 PM.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, and several cabinet ministers will attend the event, making it a significant moment in the state’s recruitment drive.
Government prepares for large-scale event
To ensure a smooth experience, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao held a teleconference with senior officials. During the meeting, he confirmed that over 120 RTC buses will bring selected VROs from across districts. All buses are expected to reach the venue by 2 PM. The TSRTC Managing Director will supervise transport logistics.
In addition, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mahanti has been directed to handle parking and traffic. Officials stressed the importance of timely coordination due to the high number of participants.
Senior officials oversee planning
Several top officials took part in the planning session. These include Special Chief Secretary (R&B) Vikas Raj, Revenue Secretary Lokesh Kumar, Fire Services DG Nagi Reddy, Special Commissioner (Information) Priyanka, and Culture Department Director Mamidi Harikrishna.
This VRO recruitment drive is part of the government’s broader effort to enhance grassroots governance and generate employment opportunities across Telangana.
