Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Governor Jishnu Dev Varma paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Bapu Ghat in Hyderabad on Thursday to mark Gandhi Jayanti. They offered floral respects together and later watched a musical programme dedicated to Gandhiji.
Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao also joined the homage at the venue.
CM Revanth Reddy to visit Kondareddypalli after Gandhi Jayanti tribute
After the event, the Chief Minister scheduled a visit to his native Kondareddypalli village in Nagarkurnool district. He will leave by helicopter at 1:30 p.m. and attend local programmes from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Revanth Reddy will later travel to Kodangal at 10 p.m. to stay at his residence.
