Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday held a high-level review meeting on the Musi River development project at his Jubilee Hills residence. Senior officials from multiple departments attended the closed-door session.
Among those present were CM’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, CM’s Secretary Manik Raj, and MA&UD Secretary (HMDA area) Ilambarathi. HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad, FCD Commissioner K. Shashanka, and HMWSSB MD Ashok Reddy also participated.
Musi River development gains traction under CM’s direct supervision
Officials from Musi Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd (MRDCL), including MD E.V. Narasimha Reddy and JMD P. Gowthami, were also present, along with Ranga Reddy District Collector Narayana Reddy and other senior officers.
The meeting focused on inter-agency coordination for the Musi project, involving infrastructure planning, riverfront beautification, and flood management. The Chief Minister is expected to hold follow-up sessions to accelerate the project’s implementation.
