CPI hails Congress win in Jubilee Hills, calls it people’s mandate

Hyderabad: CPI state secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Friday welcomed the Congress party’s victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election, calling it a mandate shaped by public issues and growing trust in Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership.

He said the BJP’s loss of deposit in a constituency under Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy’s Lok Sabha segment showed voter frustration over unresolved civic problems. He added that the BRS also faced rejection for its failure to deliver solutions during its decade-long rule.

Congress-CPI alliance gains momentum

Kunamneni congratulated Congress candidate Naveen Yadav and acknowledged the success of the joint CPI-Congress campaign. He urged the state government to now focus on solving public grievances and fulfilling poll promises.

Bihar result not NDA’s win, says CPI

Commenting on the Bihar Assembly results, the CPI leader said the verdict belonged more to the Election Commission than to the NDA. He cited the cancellation of 65 lakh votes under SIR and the central government’s ₹10,000 cash transfer to 75 lakh women ahead of polling as irregularities. He also blamed delays in opposition seat-sharing for the weak performance.
