HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka reviewed Telangana’s electricity supply on Wednesday in a meeting with power utility heads. Despite rising demand, officials assured that all sectors continue to receive uninterrupted power.
At 7:55 AM, the state recorded a peak demand of 16,058 megawatts (MW), surpassing the previous high of 15,998 MW on February 10. Authorities stated that TS Transco and TS Genco are effectively managing the increased consumption without disruptions.
Bhatti Vikramarka reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining a stable power supply. “No matter how much the demand rises, we will ensure uninterrupted electricity for all sectors,” he said.
Officials highlighted key measures to handle the growing energy needs. With summer approaching, power authorities are closely monitoring consumption and adapting strategies to ensure a reliable supply.
