EDCET 2025-26 notification released for B.Ed admissions in Telangana

HYDERABAD: The EDCET notification for the 2025-2026 academic year has been released, facilitating admissions into the two-year B.Ed regular course in Telangana. The announcement was made at Kakatiya University by Vice-Chancellor Professor K. Pratap Reddy, along with key university officials.

Among those present were Professor V. Ramachandram (Registrar), Professor N. Ramnath Kishan (Dean, Faculty of Education), Professor T. Manohar (Principal, University College of Education), Professor B. Suresh Lal (Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education), Professor N. Vasudeva Reddy (Development Officer), Professor Rajender Katla (Controller of Examinations), and EDCET-25 Convener Professor Venkatram Reddy.

EDCET 2025-26: Important Dates and Application Details

The application process for EDCET 2025-26 will commence on March 12. Candidates belonging to the general category must pay Rs 750 as the application fee, while candidates from SC, ST, and differently-abled categories need to pay Rs 550.

The last date for application submission, including those with a late fee, is May 24. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on June 1.
