Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Friday hosted the traditional ‘At Home’ reception at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad, as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The evening brought together leaders from the state’s political and judicial spectrum in a display of unity and ceremonial grandeur.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, several cabinet ministers, and senior officials attended the reception. Distinguished guests from culture, academia, and administration also joined.
The event included ceremonial courtesies and informal interactions among the state’s top leadership. Guests greeted the Governor and marked the 79th Independence Day as a time to reflect on India’s democratic journey and the values of freedom and service.
Raj Bhavan’s lawns displayed the national colours. A cultural segment showcased patriotic performances. Guests enjoyed light refreshments while discussing governance priorities and social initiatives to strengthen Telangana’s growth.
