Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy has urged Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to clear ₹361.35 crore in pending bills for civil works completed under the Mana Vooru Mana Badi scheme.
In a letter to the Chief Minister on Thursday, Gutha said small and poor contractors, along with members of Amma Adarsh School Committees, carried out the works by taking loans. The delay in payments, he noted, has left them facing severe financial distress.

Gutha said clearing these bills is critical to supporting small contractors and school committees, who have long struggled to recover their investments. He urged the government to treat the issue as a priority and release the funds without further delay.
“The livelihoods of many depend on these payments. The State must address this matter urgently,” he stressed in the letter.
