Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader Harish Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Telangana and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing them of failing to fulfil key promises made before coming to power.
During a visit to Andole on Monday, Harish Rao said the Congress had betrayed people from every section of society. He criticised the government for not delivering on its commitments despite completing nearly two years in office.
Harish Rao slams Congress government over unfulfilled promises
Harish Rao urged voters to question Congress leaders when they seek votes in upcoming local elections. He asked the public to confront them over the unfulfilled guarantees and the shortage of essential supplies. “The Congress cannot even ensure proper urea supply to farmers. Do we really need such a party?” he asked.
He predicted that the BRS government would return to power, saying the Congress had lost ground at the grassroots level. “People will see the Congress’s real condition during the local elections,” he said.
Harish Rao reminded party workers that two years of the Congress term had already passed. He called on them to work together to ensure that the BRS flag flies high again in the next Assembly elections.
