Rachakonda Police Arrest Mobile Theft Gang, Recover ₹11.75 Lakh Stolen Goods

HYDERABAD, February 8: Rachakonda police have arrested four individuals involved in multiple mobile shop burglaries in the city. Acting on credible information, teams led by Sri Raju, SHO Pocharam IT Corridor Police Station, and Sri D Jalandhar Reddy, Inspector, CCS Malkajgiri, apprehended the suspects at Uppal Bhagayath area.

During interrogation, the accused admitted to committing shutter-lifting thefts at mobile shops within the Pocharam IT Corridor and Meerpet police station limits. Following their confession, the police recovered stolen property, including mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and burglary tools, from Uppal Bhagayath and Narapally. The total value of recovered items stands at ₹11,75,533.

Two cases in this regard were registered viz. Cr.No. 66/2025 U/s 331(4), 305(a) BNS – Pocharam IT Corridor PS, Cr.No. 159/2025 U/s 331(4), 305(a) BNS – Meerpet PS
