Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday announced that Hyderabad would soon emerge as India’s premier film-making hub. He assured that the state government would provide all necessary support to strengthen the film industry in Telangana.
He made the statement while felicitating winners of the 71st National Film Awards at his official residence. Several award-winning producers, directors, and technical artists from Telugu cinema met the Chief Minister and raised key concerns about challenges in film production.
Revanth Reddy acknowledged their inputs and promised a supportive environment to position Hyderabad as a national center for cinema.

The Chief Minister honoured director Anil Ravipudi for Bhagavanth Kesari, director Prashanth Varma and visual effects artists Venkat and Srinivas for Hanuman, and fight choreographers Nandu and Prithvi. He also felicitated Baby director Sai Rajesh and singer Rohit.
Producers Chaitanya Reddy, Niranjan Reddy (Hanuman), SKN (Baby), and Garapati Sahu (Bhagavanth Kesari) were also present at the event.
The Chief Minister praised the contributions of the Telugu film industry and reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting creativity, innovation, and infrastructure development for film-making in the state.
