Hyderabad: TPCC working president Jagga Reddy launched a scathing attack on former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s family on Friday, branding them as “experts in corruption” and accusing them of widespread financial misconduct.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy claimed that MLC K Kavitha operated a liquor outlet in Delhi and played a role in the political collapse of former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal through the liquor scam. He alleged that Santosh Kumar, KTR’s brother-in-law, managed an illegal liquor business running from Peddamma Temple in Jubilee Hills to Madhapur.
He accused the KCR family of orchestrating large-scale land grabs and claimed they siphoned off at least ₹30,000 crore through the Kaleshwaram project. Reddy said the family enriched itself massively during the BRS administration.
Targeting Dubbaaka MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Jagga Reddy said he lacked credibility to speak on corruption, alleging his direct involvement in financial irregularities along with the KCR family.
