Hyderabad: Minister for Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday said the Jubilee Hills bypoll result was a clear vote for development. He hailed the Congress Party’s win as public support for Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
He credited the victory to the teamwork of the Chief Minister and cabinet. According to him, the people endorsed the government’s focus on welfare and transparent administration.
Voters backed stability and good governance
Komatireddy thanked the voters, especially those in Rahmat Nagar Division, for keeping their campaign promises and voting for Congress. He also appreciated workers from the film industry who answered his call and stood with the party.
He praised Congress cadres for their strong polling efforts. Their booth-level coordination and voter outreach played a big role in securing the majority, he said.
Naveen Yadav’s win boosts party confidence
The minister congratulated Congress candidate Naveen Yadav on his win. He said the candidate faced personal attacks but stood firm and won by a large margin. Komatireddy recalled predicting a margin of over 20,000 votes and said the result matched his expectations.
He ended by saying the win showed growing trust in the Congress government. “The people want stable leadership. Congress will stay in power for the next ten years,” he said.
