Jupally warns against bribery in Indiramma housing allotments

Hyderabad: Minister Jupally Krishna Rao warned that strict action would be taken against any official, public representative, or beneficiary involved in bribery for allotments under the Indiramma housing scheme. Speaking in Nagar Kurnool district’s Kollapur municipality on Monday, he said the scheme aimed solely at development and welfare.

Jupally visited every ward in Kollapur to verify the eligibility of residents whose income is below the poverty threshold before issuing allotment letters. He also laid foundations for new houses in several wards. In Ward 6, former municipal chairperson Ramya Nagaraju accompanied him to beneficiary Mannemma’s home and explained her financial situation. The minister assured her of financial support.
