Hyderabad: Telangana’s political landscape was jolted on Saturday after Chief Minister Revanth Reddy not only attended the NITI Aayog meeting in Delhi but was also seen sharing a visibly warm moment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The development sparked swift reactions back home. BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao took to X (formerly Twitter) to question the apparent shift in Revanth’s stance. He pointed out that Revanth had skipped the previous NITI Aayog meeting, only to now make a U-turn and engage amiably with the PM.
“What changed so dramatically?” KTR wrote, suggesting that Revanth’s name surfacing in the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet related to the National Herald case might have played a role in softening his posture towards the Centre.
The encounter has stirred fresh speculation about political realignments, especially in light of Telangana’s tense equation with the BJP-led Union government.
Niti Aayog’s last meeting was boycotted by Telangana CM Revant Reddy
But yesterday, he not only attended the same but was also seen schmoozing with the PM
Wonder what changed?
Naming him in the ED Chargesheet of National Hearlad case did the trick I guess 😁… pic.twitter.com/Mtj0VFEw8Z
