Mallu Bhatti orders full rollout of Indira Mahila Dairy in 20 days in Madhira

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Finance and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has directed officials to fast-track implementation of the Indira Mahila Dairy pilot project in Madhira constituency, aiming for a full-scale launch across the region within 20 days.

At a review meeting held Sunday at his Madhira camp office with District Collector Anudeep Durishetty, Bhatti reviewed the setup of the dairy scheme alongside officials from DRDO, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Welfare departments.

He instructed officials to complete unit grounding for the cattle under the scheme and to ensure that every beneficiary receives two buffaloes. He also ordered construction of sheds suitable for housing at least four milch animals per household.

Stressing the need for transparency, Bhatti directed that every cattle procurement team must include a vigilance officer. Any irregularities, he warned, would not be tolerated.

Addressing fodder supply, the Deputy CM said a large quantity would be required and asked departments to link fodder operations with employment opportunities for local unemployed youth.

Officials present at the review included DRDO official Sanyasayya, SC Corporation ED Naveen Babu, District Minority Welfare Officer Purender, Electricity Department SE Srinivasa Chari, Madhira Agriculture AD Vijayachandra, and others.
