Hyderabad: A family of five, including a two-year-old child, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Makta Mahaboobpet of Miyapur on Thursday. The incident shocked local residents, who alerted police after discovering the bodies inside the house.
Police identified the deceased as Lakshmaiah (60), Venkatamma (55), Anil (32), Kavitha (24), and a toddler named Appu (2). The family had migrated to Hyderabad from RanjoIi village in Sedam mandal of Karnataka’s Gulbarga district.
Miyapur family death case under police investigation
Investigators suspect that the child may have been killed before the other members took their own lives. However, police confirmed that no suicide note was found at the spot, and the exact reason for the deaths remains unclear. The bodies were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination.
