Hyderabad: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy on Tuesday said Union Minister Bandi Sanjay may soon face political retirement. He recalled Sanjay’s past statement that he would quit politics if Congress returned to power in Telangana.
The MLA reacted strongly to Bandi Sanjay’s comment that people were ready to pelt Congress leaders with stones over the government’s six guarantees. Naini said the government, under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, was steadily delivering on its promises. He added that Sanjay’s predictions had completely failed.
Bandi Sanjay political retirement claim reignited by Congress performance
Naini also supported Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra, calling it a move to expose BJP’s alleged “vote theft” nationwide. He stated that Congress had begun fulfilling its promises within 20 months, proving public faith in its leadership.
He accused Sanjay of misleading people and said the BJP had no credibility. “Congress has delivered people-oriented schemes. If Bandi Sanjay is confident, he should debate his party’s record against ours,” Naini said.
He predicted that BJP leaders who mock public welfare would eventually be rejected and pushed out of politics.
