Police raid Hyderabad bar for obscene dance performances

SOT police raided a Sanathnagar bar, arresting 11 dancers and 2 DJs.

Hyderabad, January 8: The Special Operations Team (SOT) police conducted a raid on Evergreen Bar and Restaurant in Sanathnagar on Tuesday night following allegations of obscene dance performances involving women to attract customers.

During the raid, authorities discovered that the bar had been conducting such performances for over a year. As a result, 11 women dancers and two DJs were arrested from the premises. However, the restaurant’s management managed to escape during the police operation.

A case has been registered against the bar owner, identified as Krishnam Raju. Police stated that investigations are ongoing to locate the absconding management and uncover further details about the alleged illegal activities.
