Hyderabad: Revenue, Housing and I&PR Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said all sub-registrar offices in Telangana will be shifted to integrated registration buildings in a phased manner. He made the announcement at the foundation stone ceremony for the Rangareddy district integrated registration office at Talim, Gachibowli, on Wednesday.
The Minister said the Congress Government scrapped the Dharani portal, fulfilling its election promise. He added that the new Bhu Bharati-2025 Act was drafted after studying land systems in 18 states.
He said officials received 8.60 lakh applications under the Bhu Bharati Act. Of these, two lakh were cleared. Nearly four lakh linked to Sada Bainama remain pending. With the High Court lifting its stay on Tuesday, he said valid Sada Bainama claims will now be processed immediately.
Despite financial constraints, Ponguleti said the government under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was moving forward on both development and welfare. “We will not break the trust of the people. This integrated registration building marks a step in our phase-wise plan,” he said.
He explained that 62–63% of state revenue comes from registrations at 39 sub-registrar offices under GHMC and ORR limits. These offices will now be brought under 11 integrated facilities.
