President, PM and Chandrababu extend warm wishes on Telangana Formation Day

Hyderabad: As Telangana marked its 11th Formation Day on Monday, greetings poured in from national leaders who lauded the State’s journey and extended their best wishes for its continued progress.

President Droupadi Murmu hailed Telangana’s rich cultural legacy and dynamic progress in economic and technological spheres. In her message to the people, she described the State as a blend of tradition and modernity, and expressed confidence in its forward march. “May the people of Telangana continue to walk the path of prosperity and inclusive development,” she said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to social media platform X to extend his greetings, praising the contribution of Telangana to India’s development. He said the State is known for its relentless effort towards national growth. Recalling initiatives by the NDA government over the past decade, he said they were aimed at improving the quality of life for the people of Telangana. “Wishing success, peace, and prosperity to all citizens of the State,” his post read.

In a message marked by cultural unity, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasised that though separated administratively, Telugu people remain one in spirit. Extending greetings to the people of Telangana on their Formation Day, he said, “My hope is that every household in Telangana lives in happiness and comfort.” He also underscored the importance of healthy competition between the Telugu States for development, and envisioned both playing a leading role in Viksit Bharat 2047. “Let the Telugu identity stand strong and indivisible,” he declared.
