Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy on Wednesday paid homage to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park as part of Prajapalana Dinotsavam and extended support to unemployed youth. He announced that he would visit the City Central Library in Ashoknagar to listen to their concerns.
Reddy said he stood with the unemployed and would take their issues to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He urged the government to address irregularities in Group-1 examinations and recruitment processes without delay.

The MLA said Telangana had about 30 lakh unemployed persons, while only 1.5 lakh jobs remained vacant. He noted that youth were demanding immediate recruitment to these posts. He assured them of his full backing and promised not to let their aspirations go unheard.
Speaking to reporters, Reddy admitted that job recruitment had been delayed. He said the state economy was in difficulty, but the government was trying to stabilise it. He added that as a Congress legislator, he would stand by unemployed youth and support their fight for opportunities.
