HYDERABAD: The Telangana Assembly has recently implemented new restrictions within its lobby area to ensure the smooth conduct of legislative proceedings. Instructions have been issued prohibiting individuals from standing in front of ministers’ chambers. To enforce this directive, marshals have been specifically stationed outside each minister’s chamber.
Despite possessing lobby passes, journalists are reportedly being denied entry into the lobby. Oral orders have been issued to prevent media personnel from congregating near ministers’ chambers. These measures aim to minimize disturbances during official discussions and note-taking sessions. Consequently, both the general public and media representatives are being advised against standing in these areas.
Additionally, there is talk of granting limited access to journalists, although specific details regarding the extent of this access have not been disclosed.
