Revanth Reddy, KTR conspired to share Gopinath’s assets, alleges Bandi Sanjay

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Friday alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao conspired to divide the assets of late Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath.

Minister demands probe, says Gopinath’s death raises serious questions

At a press briefing held at the BJP state office, Bandi Sanjay referred to remarks made by Gopinath’s mother, who reportedly described her son’s death as suspicious. He criticised Congress leaders, including the Chief Minister, for failing to respond to her concerns.

“If Revanth Reddy is truly sincere, he should initiate a thorough probe into both Gopinath’s death and the handling of his assets. Authorities must record statements from the family and hospital staff,” he demanded.

He further claimed that Revanth Reddy and K.T. Rama Rao had recently clashed over the division of Gopinath’s properties, adding to public doubts surrounding the circumstances of the MLA’s death.

BJP alleges bias by poll officials, calls process unfair

Turning to the Jubilee Hills by-election, Sanjay alleged that both police and Election Commission officials were favouring Congress and BRS. He criticised the administration for delaying or rejecting BJP’s requests to hold campaign events.

“For example, we applied on November 4 for permission to hold a meeting in Meenakshipuram. Officials stayed silent until Thursday. Then on Friday morning, they denied permission altogether. Yet Congress and BRS receive approvals without such hurdles,” he said.

He also alleged that the ruling and opposition parties were working in tandem despite public posturing. “They abuse each other in front of cameras but coordinate behind closed doors. Their goal is to block the BJP in Jubilee Hills,” he said.

Congress relying on communal politics, claims BJP

Bandi Sanjay dismissed the Congress campaign as communal and vote-bank driven. He said the real contest in Jubilee Hills was between the BJP and what he labelled the “Indian Muslim Congress.”

According to him, a Congress victory would hand power to the AIMIM by proxy. “If Congress wins, it means chaos, irregularities, and unchecked appeasement. Revanth Reddy’s remarks targeting Hindus and mocking the armed forces show how low the party has stooped for votes,” he alleged.

He urged voters to see through what he called a “Congress-BRS script” and teach both parties a lesson at the ballot box.

MLC Malka Komaraiah, BJP deputy leader Payala Shankar, Gangidi Manohar Reddy, BJP SC Morcha Secretary S. Kumar, State President Vemula Ashok, official spokespersons J. Sangappa, Solanki Srinivas and Ritesh Rathod were also present.
