Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy hailed engineers for their decisive role in national progress on Engineers Day, observed on September 15.
He extended greetings to engineers across the country and said their technical knowledge and intellectual strength shaped India’s development. He underlined that engineers remain central to modern growth.
CM recalls Visvesvaraya, urges youth
Revanth Reddy marked the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, observed as Engineers Day. He called Visvesvaraya a visionary, an educationist, and an architect of India’s industrial rise.
The Chief Minister noted that Visvesvaraya initiated flood-control works on the Musi River and built lasting infrastructure in Hyderabad. He said the engineer’s use of modern technology laid the base for the country’s engineering sector.
Revanth Reddy urged students, technocrats and researchers to follow Visvesvaraya’s ideals. He asked them to adopt innovation and contribute actively to the progress of Telangana and the nation.
