HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy virtually inaugurated development projects worth ₹630.27 crore in Station Ghanpur constituency, marking a significant boost in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and road connectivity.
Under the education sector, ₹200 crore has been allocated for the Young India Integrated Residential School in Konayachalam village of Jafarghad Mandal. Additionally, ₹5.5 crore has been sanctioned for establishing a degree college in Ghanpur.
Healthcare initiatives include the construction of a 100-bed hospital in Ghanpur at a cost of ₹45.5 crore and an Integrated Divisional Level Office Complex for ₹26 crore. The government has also sanctioned ₹148.76 crore for the second phase of the Devadula project.
Infrastructure development includes CC lining and canal construction along the RS Ghanpur main canal from 12.650 km to 31.20 km. The state has also approved ₹25.6 crore for 512 Indiramma houses, with 274 allotted to Ghanpur mandal and 238 to Dharmasagar and Velair mandals.
Road expansion projects include ₹15 crore for widening the NH road from Mallannagandi to Thatikonda, Jittagudem, and Tarigoppula. Rural road maintenance and BT restoration projects will be carried out at a cost of ₹23.5 crore, covering major routes like Janagaon to Jeedikal and Nidigonda to Quileshapur.
The power sector will see ₹1 crore allocated for the construction of the NPDCL Divisional Office and ERO Office in Station Ghanpur. New 33/11 KV substations will be established in multiple villages, including ₹2.26 crore for Kurchapalli, ₹2.29 crore for Sagaram, ₹2.5 crore for Kondapur, ₹2.48 crore for Fatehpur, and ₹1.48 crore for Rayagudem.
The state has also sanctioned ₹2 crore for constructing a Banjara Bhavan and ₹11.9 crore for road development from Govardhanagiri to Charlathanda. Additional BT road projects worth ₹3.7 crore, ₹3.49 crore, and ₹2.8 crore will enhance connectivity in tribal areas.
Station Ghanpur Gram Panchayat will be upgraded to a municipality. Road expansion proposals worth ₹1.76 crore in Peddapendyal village will be executed under KUDA.
Women empowerment initiatives include an allocation of ₹102.1 crore for the Mahila Shakti scheme, with ₹2.10 crore for RTC buses and ₹100 crore in bank linkages for self-help groups. An oil palm collection center will also be established in Ghanpur with ₹0.65 crore under the Telangana Oilseeds Corporation.
