Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday affirmed the state government’s full support to preserve the legacy of the Ramoji brand. He made these remarks at the Ramoji Excellence Awards ceremony. During his speech, he praised the Ramoji Group’s contributions to journalism and film-making.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister described Ramoji Film City as a global hub for cinema. He highlighted it as one of Hyderabad’s four iconic landmarks, along with Charminar, Golconda, and Hitech City. He called the film city a major asset to Telangana. Additionally, he credited Ramoji Rao for building a self-contained production facility. In this facility, filmmakers can enter with a script and exit with a completed print.
He noted that reading Eenadu and watching ETV news had become a daily ritual for many Telugu households. The Chief Minister commended the group for maintaining credibility, calling it the hallmark of the Eenadu news network.
Ramoji Film City hailed as cinematic and cultural landmark
Revanth Reddy highlighted Ramoji Rao’s ability to succeed in both the media and consumer markets, stating, “Ramoji Rao made a mark by selling both pickles and news content with equal impact.”
Congratulating the award recipients, he emphasised the importance of passing on Ramoji’s values and vision to future generations. “The Ramoji brand must live forever,” he said.
