He inspected waterlogged colonies, spoke with residents, and immediately ordered relief measures along with long-term flood prevention plans.

At Budhanagar, the chief minister reviewed the stormwater drainage system. He instructed officials to clear stagnant water without delay. Moreover, in one colony where water had surrounded homes, he directed the installation of barriers to block future flooding. Later, he visited Balkampet and discussed the situation with Hyderabad Commissioner A.V. Ranganath and other senior officers.

In Gangubai Basti, locals complained about a blocked lane being used as a parking lot, which caused water to accumulate. Revanth Reddy expressed anger and told officials to remove the obstruction immediately. He also instructed them to lay a dedicated drainage line as a permanent solution.

Afterwards, he reached Maitrivanam to assess pooling points and engaged with residents about their concerns. In Budhanagar, he met Jaswanth, a Class 7 student who lost his books when rainwater entered his home. The chief minister assured the boy that such incidents would not recur.

To strengthen monsoon preparedness, Revanth Reddy told GHMC, Water Board, electricity, and police teams to remain on field duty round the clock. He emphasised close coordination between departments, quick water clearance, and clear warning boards near open drains. Additionally, he directed officials to prepare a master plan for preventing flooding in vulnerable localities.
