Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday asked senior irrigation officials to draft plans for lifting 80 TMC of water from Tummidihatti to Sundilla and to finalise repair estimates for the Sundilla barrage.
He chaired a high-level review on key irrigation projects at the Secretariat. During the meeting, the Chief Minister sought a detailed report on damage to the Sundilla barrage. He also instructed officials to base the repair estimates on previous construction records.

Revanth Reddy told the department to prepare plans to supply both irrigation and drinking water to the erstwhile Adilabad district. He also reviewed a recent letter from Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil and directed officials to submit project-wise status reports.
While discussing Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram barrages, the Chief Minister asked for clear and actionable repair proposals. He warned that contractors responsible for construction defects must be held accountable.
Revanth Reddy added that another review would take place in the second week of November. He said final decisions would follow after reviewing complete reports from the irrigation department.
