HYDERABAD, February 12: Retired employees of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) have not received their pension for February, causing concern among beneficiaries. The delay has left many retired workers in financial distress, as they depend on the pension for their daily expenses.

According to sources, SCCL has not provided any official clarification regarding the reason behind the delay. Retired employees and trade union leaders are urging the company management to expedite the release of funds, emphasising that pension payments are essential for their sustenance.

The issue has gained attention, with calls for SCCL to ensure timely disbursal in the future. A response from the company is awaited regarding the expected timeline for pension payments.
