Telangana’s 2047 Vision Document to showcase State’s progress globally: Bhatti

Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said the 2047 Vision Document will highlight the state’s development and future plans to a global audience.

He spoke at a war room meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan, attended by Principal Secretaries and Secretaries from all departments. The session focused on finalising the document ahead of the Global Summit scheduled for December 8 and 9.

Telangana targets $3 trillion economy by 2047

Bhatti noted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Cabinet are united in their goal to turn Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. To move towards this target, the Chief Minister tasked Bhatti with preparing an inclusive vision document that involves all departments.

To support this, the government signed an agreement with the Indian School of Business (ISB). Departmental nodal officers have submitted key data, and ISB has already completed its preliminary work.

“Telangana is a young state. This document will not only showcase our progress but also the foundation we are building for the future,” Bhatti said. He described the initiative as a milestone in long-term planning.

He urged officials to treat the document’s completion as a top priority in the run-up to the summit.

The document will include sector-specific strategies to drive economic growth, boost industry, and expand the service sector laying out a roadmap for Telangana’s development by 2047.
