Telangana Assembly adjourned after condolence motion for MLA Maganti Gopinath

Hyderabad: The Telangana Legislative Assembly was adjourned to 9 a.m. on Sunday after members adopted a condolence motion in memory of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath, who recently passed away.

When the session began on Saturday, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy introduced the motion, recalling Gopinath’s contributions to public life and his service to the people of Jubilee Hills.

Leaders across parties pay respects

Ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and Ponnam Prabhakar joined in paying tributes. BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, BJP MLA K. Venkataramana Reddy, AIMIM MLA Ahmed Bin Balala, CPI MLA K. Sambasiva Rao, and several other legislators also shared their reflections.

After the speeches, the House observed silence and adjourned proceedings to Sunday morning.
