HYDERABAD: Minister for Endowments, Konda Surekha, has praised the Telangana Budget 2025-26 for paving the way to economic stability while overcoming challenges. In the Telangana Assembly session held on Wednesday, Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka presented the annual budget, marking the first full-fledged budget since the formation of the Congress government. The budget totals ₹3,04,965 crore, with revenue expenditure at ₹2,26,982 crore and capital expenditure at ₹36,504 crore.
Expressing her views on Twitter, Minister Surekha stated that the second state budget reflects the aspirations of the entire Telangana populace. She appreciated Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for recognizing the needs of Telangana’s people and allocating funds accordingly. She believes the budget embodies inclusive growth, balancing development and welfare effectively.
Minister Surekha highlighted that the budget aims to ensure justice for all sections of society, promoting employment, and focusing on the welfare of women, youth, Dalits, and tribal communities. She commended Bhatti Vikramarka for crafting a budget that mirrors the aspirations of all societal segments. Despite challenges, the state budget sets a path toward economic stability for the people of the Telangana region. She extended her congratulations to Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for presenting the budget in the Assembly and to Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu for introducing it in the Legislative Council.
