Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will chair the Telangana Cabinet meeting on November 15 at the Secretariat. The Cabinet will take key policy decisions after the Jubilee Hills bypoll result.
Vote counting for the by-election will take place on November 14. The result is expected by noon. Congress leaders remain confident of winning the seat. They said field reports from ministers and party cadres confirm a clear victory. The party believes the outcome will reflect public approval of its governance.
Telangana Cabinet meeting to decide on BC quotas, local polls
Officials said the Cabinet will discuss local body elections, BC reservations, and preparations for the two-year celebrations of Congress rule. The government will also clear pending administrative matters in this session.
Sources said the Chief Minister chose to hold the meeting after the bypoll result to move forward with a fresh public mandate. The government had earlier planned the meeting for November 7, later postponed it to November 12, and finally fixed it for November 15.
