Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet Sub-Committee on Industrial Promotion on Tuesday cleared fresh investments worth ₹3,745 crore from JSW, Toshiba, and Hindustan Coca-Cola. These projects will create over 1,500 jobs and boost the agriculture sector, according to IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.
The sub-committee, which includes Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, aims to align every investment with Telangana’s long-term growth vision.
Coca-Cola plant to boost fruit demand
Among the approved projects, the new Coca-Cola plant will create large-scale demand for mangoes and oranges. This move opens direct market access for farmers and promises higher incomes through sustained procurement.
JSW and Toshiba are set to launch manufacturing and tech-based operations, enhancing the state’s industrial base.
Jobs and farm incomes at the core
Sridhar Babu said the sub-committee isn’t just approving investments—it is ensuring they match Telangana’s model of balanced growth. “Our approach combines industrial expansion with youth employment and better farm incomes,” he added.
