Telangana CM discusses investment opportunities with Queensland delegation

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy discussed investment opportunities with a Queensland delegation, exploring collaborations in industry, sports universities, and trade.

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu held discussions with a delegation from Queensland, Australia, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The meeting focused on exploring investment opportunities and potential Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in key sectors, including industry, sports universities, and trade.

The Queensland delegation expressed keen interest in investing in Telangana, citing favourable conditions for partnerships and economic collaborations.

The visiting delegation from Queensland included:
  • Dr. Janet Young – Governor of Queensland
  • Roslyn Bates – Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment, and Training
Focus on Bilateral Cooperation

During the meeting, both sides explored mutual areas of interest, with Telangana showcasing its investment-friendly policies and growing business ecosystem. The discussions aimed at strengthening economic ties and identifying sectors where joint ventures could be established.

The engagement with Queensland officials aligns with Telangana’s broader efforts to attract global investments and foster international trade relations.
