Hyderabad: Telangana Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy on Tuesday inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Telangana Legislative Council heritage building located in the Assembly premises. Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash Mudiraj, and Legislative Secretary Dr. V. Narasimha Charyulu accompanied him during the visit.
Telangana Council heritage building works reviewed
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy directed officials to expedite the works without delay. He stressed that, since the structure is a heritage building, all necessary precautions must be taken during the reconstruction. He noted that the government is considering holding the upcoming legislative sessions in the restored premises.
Reddy also informed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to inspect the site soon. He instructed Council authorities to ensure the works are completed quickly and handed over without any postponement.
Review meeting with officials and Aga Khan representatives
Later, Assembly Speaker Prasad Kumar convened a review meeting in his chambers with Roads and Buildings (R&B) officials and representatives of the Aga Khan Trust, which is assisting in the heritage works.
