Telangana Rising vision unveiled by Revanth Reddy at USISPF meet in Delhi

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy presented the Telangana Rising vision at the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum meet in New Delhi on Thursday. His address drew strong support from global business leaders who praised its focus on innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive growth. He said the plan aimed to build a $1 trillion Telangana economy by 2034 and reach a $3 trillion SGDP by 2047. Moreover, he stressed that international participation would accelerate the State’s progress.

Global leaders welcome the Telangana Rising vision

Former Cisco CEO John T. Chambers called the roadmap “bold, clear, and very achievable.” He said the emphasis on urban transformation and measurable social impact stood out. Furthermore, he described the presentation as “deeply inspiring,” noting its clarity for future collaboration.

USISPF President and CEO Dr. Mukesh Aghi also extended full support to the State’s agenda. After the Chief Minister’s invitation, Forum members agreed to attend the TelanganaRising Global Summit in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9. Consequently, multinational firms began reviewing long-term possibilities in the State.

Economic goals shape the Telangana Rising vision

Revanth Reddy said Telangana remained one of India’s most dynamic states. He added that Hyderabad’s location, safety record, and stable climate strengthened its position as a preferred base for Global Capability Centres. Additionally, he urged global firms to invest in the State and take part in its next growth phase.

He explained that the government focused on women’s economic access, education, skilling, and urban renewal during the past 23 months. The plan sought to improve mobility and living standards across Hyderabad. He also invited major universities to open offshore campuses so Global South students could access top-tier education at lower costs and with simpler visa rules.

Key projects advance the Telangana Rising vision

The Chief Minister outlined major initiatives shaping the long-term plan. Bharat Future City will be developed across 30,000 acres as an integrated urban zone. The Musi River Rejuvenation Project will redesign the riverfront to match global standards in London, Tokyo, Dubai, and Seoul. In addition, he said the corridor would support a stronger night-time economy.

He listed other upgrades, including a Dry Port, Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion, the Regional Ring Road, radial roads, and a manufacturing corridor between the RRR and ORR. These projects, he said, would position Telangana as a strong “China +1” alternative for global investors seeking diversified supply chains.

He concluded by suggesting modern road names—Google Street, Meta Avenue, and TCS-Infosys Road to reflect Hyderabad’s growing partnership with global technology companies.
