Hyderabad: Telangana Youth Congress has demanded an immediate public apology from Kaushik Reddy for his remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, calling them “venomous outbursts” and a betrayal of the public mandate.
In a press release issued by State General Secretary Almas Khan, the organisation accused Kaushik Reddy of acting as a planted agent of BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao during his time in Congress. The statement alleges that Reddy leaked confidential party strategies, undermined internal decisions, and ultimately betrayed the party’s trust.
The Youth Congress called his recent statements a desperate attempt to remain politically relevant and warned that his actions would not be tolerated. “If he fails to apologise, the Youth Congress will ensure he won’t be allowed to roam the streets freely,” the release read, adding that a lesson would be taught that his political lineage would not forget.
Terming it a warning and not a threat, the Youth Congress vowed to defend the dignity of elected leadership and expose those complicit in corruption and conspiracy.
